Golden Monkey Tracking : Mgahinga National Park Ready for Experiential Tourism
Uganda Wildlife Authority directorate of Conservation has completed the process of habituating a family of Golden monkeys for experiential tourism as a strategy to diversify tourism activities within Uganda.
According to the Uganda Wildlife Authority statement, it is now possible for clients to stay with the monkeys for four hours on a primates safari in Uganda. The product is now ready for the market, according to the Uganda Wildlife Authority management.
The fee for this golden monkey tracking is US$100 inclusive of park entry fees to the Mgahinga National Park.
The maximum number of tourists per visiting group per day will be six
The activity will be taking place in the mornings and afternoon and lasts an average of four hours each session
Bookings will be done at both headquarters and the national park offices in Kisoro and Ntebeko.
